Windows - type normal opening |

Two axial – here the window opens on the vertical axis, too. It is intended mainly for ventilation of rooms. |

Normal sliding-opening by means of pulling on a rail, brush gaskets and Teflon band, which doesn’t allow the deformation of the brush gasket. |

Windows of the mouthorgan type - the opening allows the making of doors and windows with a big passage area when open with slight and soundless movement of the wings. The maximal width of the wings up to 900 mm and the height up to 2360 mm, weight of the wing is up to 80 kg. |

Opening with a Volkswagen type mechanism – opening by means of pulling and sliding on a rail, comfort and light movement of the wings, with perfect gasket by means of a rubber. When rotating of the grip on 90 degrees there is an opening done of the type “falling wing”. The casing is more protected against breaking by means of special angles with antiburglary spongelike buds. The maximum width of the wing is up to 1600 mm, the height is up to 2360 mm, the weight of the wing is up to 200 kg. |
Salamander is one of the leading producers of profile plastic systems for windows, doors. The products represent more than 30 years of experience in the technology for processing of plastics. A guaranty for the quality and the authenticity of the German Know - how is the fact, that Salamander manufactures its own production in Germany, town of Turkheim (near Munich).
The company Salamander Industrie Produkte GmbH has been established in the remote 1885 under the name “Jacob Siegle, manufacturing and storehouse, all types of shoe articles” in Kornwestheim (near Stuttgart). In 1913 „Jacob Siegle & co” is the biggest German shoe factory, renamed to Salamander. In 1960 the activity in the field of PVC equipment has been started. In 1973 a production and distribution of PVC profiles for windows and doors has been started. In 1997 the first sales in Bulgaria of profile system Universal have been made. PVC windows with profiles of Salamander offer all advantages, which you could expect nowadays from a window.
Excellent heat insulation from Ê 1,3W/m2 to Ê1,0W/m2
The coefficient of heat transition determines the ability of the joinery to transmit heat or the amount of the thermal losses – something, on which to a big extent our bills for heating are dependable. The lesser this coefficient is, the lesser shall be our losses of heat through the window.
Sound insulation
Excellent sound insulation, which could be made better also with the investment in a sound insulating multiple glazing- by two glasses with different thicknesses or multiple glazing with the one glass of triplex. With this combination in your home the noise of the city shall not enter, at least if you do invite it. Resistance to atmospheric influences. The Salamander profiles have proven their stability with their long-year experience. The profiles are light resistant and extremely stable to weather influences with a brilliant white colour, with smooth and shining surface.
Protection option
The casing allows additional protection from burglary actions – antiburglary casing. These are additional buds of locking, which do not permit the burglars to open the windows and to penetrate your home. It is recommended for last and ground floors.
Options for the automatic aeration of windows
Air controller is a device, integrated in the window frame, which allows for the circulation of air. The micro-ventilation automatically aerates and in this way prevents the formation of condensate.
Window glazing
A glazing is a hermetically closed construction, consisting of two or more windows, separated by spacers of various size. In most cases the glazing takes up about 75%-90% of the window area. This is why it is very important to pick not only high-quality joinery, but also high-quality glazing, which satisfies all needs for heat and sound-insulation. Depending on the number of glass pieces, building up the glazing, the glazing can be double (single-chamber) or triple (double-chamber).

A good heat-insulation is achieved through a combination of a high-quality profile with the necessary heat-insulation characteristics, and a suitable glazing. The level of heat-insulation for a window depends on the distance between glass-pieces, their type and thickness. Low-emission glass is recommended for the glazing, with regard to an increased heat-insulating capacity of the windows. Low-e glass is float glass with a thin layer of metal oxide. The glazing made of low-e glass is isolates almost twice as well as a glazing with two white float glasses with a 4mm thickness.
*The heat transfer coefficient U shows the amount of heat, which passes through 1 square meter of glass for 1 hour under conditions of a 1 degree difference in temperature between the two sides of the window. Argon gas reduces the energy loss and increases the heat insulating properties of the glazing by about 10% (îò 0,1 W/m2 K äî 0,2 W/m2 K). Better heat-insulation characteristics can be achieved also through the use of a triple (double-chamber) glazing.
Another problem is the noise. It is solved by the placement of glasses of varying thickness in the glazing of the windows. Sound passes easily through equally thick glasses, for example two glasses with a thickness of 4mm. However the sound wave breaks and does not pass through to the room if it has to pass through media of different thickness. A glazing with two glass pieces of a different thickness, or a glazing with one triplex window guarantees excellent sound insulation. A maximal heat insulation of windows can be achieved through a triple (double-chamber) glazing with glasses of different thickness, which are placed at different distances from each other, especially if one of the three glasses is laminated (triplex).
A different effect can be achieved, depending on the types of glass in the glazing. The main types of window glass plates are:
- White float glass for windows. The most commonly used glass, most often in combination with another glass. It is offered in different sizes (from 4mm to 8mm)
- Low emission glass is an energy-saving glass, which aids in better heat insulation. Its exceptional qualities for thermal insulation – a maximal amount of solar energy is let through and a large amount of heat is kept in the room.
- High-energy (all season, four season) glass for windows is an energy-saving glass type, with which one can achieve optimal heat insulation, while combining the sunlight control with heat insulation characteristics, which aid in providing a pleasant environment throughout the year, without the “greenhouse” effect. It is characterized by high selectivity and a low coefficient of heat transfer. It is useful for windows in the southern or southwestern direction.
- Laminated glass (triplex: 3.1.3, 4.1.4 or 5.1.5 mm) this is a multi-layer glass, consisting of several layers of glass, bound together by a strong film. On impact this glass does not break in pieces and stays in the frame. It has a very high level of sound insulation.
- Reflexive glass for windows – Stopsol – useful for facades or rooftops. It has an increased solar control and is highly resistant to scratching and spotting.
- Colored glass for windows. We offer glass toned in blue, green, brown and gray, which is useful for the preparation of glazing for doors, windows, shop windows. All hermetically closed spaces of all glazing types can be filled with argon, which decreases the heat-insulation coefficient and decreases heat loss.
