HISTORY

     SAAV LTD company has started its activity in the beginning of the year 1999 with the manufacture of roll-up industrial and garage doors, security rolling-shutters and outer rolling blinds and within a short period of time it turned out to be one of the most distinguished companies in this industrial branch. From its very beginning the unchanged manner of work is to satisfy to a maximum degree the requirements of the customers. The slogan of SAAV is “YOU ARE SPECIAL TO US”. The strict observance of this principle allowed the company for a short time to get established and prove itself on the market as a quality manufacturer and reliable partner to its customers, as well as to its partners and suppliers. The great number of recommendations which SAAV LTD has received from a considerable number of private customers and construction contractors allowed the company to take a leading place in the field of garage doors and security rolling-shutters. With the continuously growing material base and qualified personnel the company has begun to perform complex projects for entire quarters of luxury mansions.

     After purchasing a line for manufacture of PVC and aluminum joinery in the year 2002, for a while, parallel with the main so far manufacture of rolling doors, the company has also developed the new manufacture as mentioned hereinabove. For its needs specialized software has been purchased and there were equipped computerized working places. As a result of the efforts of the management body and the employees in the office the company has established itself just in a few months on the market of joinery, proving a quality of the realization on this new for it market too. The level of quality in this activity is being determined - first and foremost - by the systems chosen of PVC joinery, namely by the German system SALAMANDER  and the aluminum system ETEM with its reliability and functionality, characterized by a diversity of profiles and range of colours.

     In the year 2003 the company opened its showroom in Sofia, on 60 “Alley P. Yavorov” Blvd., with the aim of better presentation of its products. There are placed samples of all articles, being its own manufacture, as well as samples of the security and interior doors that have been mounted by the company.

     In the year 2004 the company became one of the founders of the Association of Bulgarian Manufacturers of Doors and Windows. The Association is a regular member of Bulgarian Economic Chamber and Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

     In the year 2005 SAAV LTD company bought equipment for manufacture of a new type of lamella for rolling doors, that is entirely smooth. The technology makes possible the manufacture of a double one, for enhancing the strength of rolling doors with big sizes.

     In the year 2006 the company introduced ERP software product, especially developed for the needs of the company, through which all working processes are being coordinated – from the offer through the measurements taking, processing and logistics to the stages of manufacture and assembly. This Internet-based system also includes financial, warehouse and administrative module.

     On the 31^st of July, 2006 SAAV LTD was granted ISO 9001:2000 Certificate. This is another step in the row, made by the company in its striving towards continuous improvement of the quality and satisfying the customer’s requirements to a maximum extent.

      With regard to extending its activity from the month of April, 2007 SAAV LTD organized a central office at 1 “Alexander Zhendov” Str., and at the place of the previous office at 6 “Alexander Zhendov” Str. There was organized and set up a showroom with exhibits and samples.

     From the beginning of the year 2008, parallel with the renewing and expanding the fleet of motor vehicles there was introduced a GPS system for the organizing and control over the mobile groups.

     In the month of April, 2008 the third showroom of the company opened its doors located at the intersection between “Bulgaria” Blvd. and “Gotse Delchev” Blvd., in the building of “Krit”. One could see there any and all samples of joinery work, garage doors, security rolling-shutters, blinds, security and interior doors, as well as to receive competent consultation from the trading employees and associates.

     In the month of October, 2008 the testing of the roll-up garage doors as manufactured by SAAV LTD has been completed successfully. The protocol of initial testing of the type of product as obtained by the Research Institute of Construction and the manufacturing control system made SAAV LTD an actual bearer of the sign of technical conformity CE, which sign became mandatory for all products put into construction within the territory of the European as of February 1^st, 2010.

     From the beginning of the month of May, 2009 the new production base of SAAV LTD opened its doors for the manufacture of joinery work, security rolling-shutters, garage doors and blinds in Lozen, near the highway of “Trakia”. Within the production area of 1660 sq. m. and warehouse area of 750 sq. m. there has been developed manufacture that was agreed - upon with the best European practices.

     On the 20^th of July, 2009 the Certificate of SAAV LTD of quality management ISO 9001 – 2008 was renewed for a further three-year period.

     With a resolution of May 3^rd, 2010 of the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria there was registered the trade-mark of “SAAV”.

     It was in the month of June, 2010 that the new line of high technology for powder and polymer painting started its operation at the production base of SAAV.

     So far SAAV LTD has a distributor’s network set up for security rolling-shutters and rolling doors, which on the territory of Sofia only covers more than 25 large companies and more than 60 commercial sites and outlets
